Kalpana V. Peddibhotla practices immigration and nationality law exclusively. Her practice
areas include employment and family-based petitions, naturalization and appeals. Prior to launching her own law practice,
Kalpana represented individuals and companies in complex business disputes for two prominent Silicon Valley law firms, while
maintaining a substantial pro bono practice on the side.
Kalpana has always believed in immigrant rights
and advocacy. Providing competent and cost-effective representation to local immigrant communities has become her mission
and prompted her to launch her own law firm in 2005.
Kalpana continues to maintain her community
and local involvement through various pro bono projects and activities. Kalpana’s past contributions include serving
as a volunteer attorney with Catholic Charities, the Muslim Community Association, the American Civil Liberties Union, and
the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She also established the India Community Center’s volunteer
program as its first Volunteer Services Director. In addition, Kalpana is actively engaged with various local and national
bar associations. In 2007, Kalpana served as the program co-chair for the North American South Asian Bar Association
(NASABA) Annual Conference, and previously served on the Executive Board of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association.
Kalpana is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law (1998) and UC Berkeley
(1988). She is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals,
and the Federal District Court.
